Well, it has begun… I am finally back on resistance training, working out at the gym! Woot! I am so excited, I can barely contain it ^,^ Hitting the weights, killing the steel… I am Home!
Coupling it with a regimen of T25 and Les Mills Combat, I am making a hybrid for myself where I am hoping to make gains of strength and size, while still burning off excess fat. Should be quite the adventure as I will really need to focus on the diet this time, and that has always been my biggest hurdle.
Today, and for many days to follow, I will workout at the gym 3 days a week, while hitting the cardio at home 3-5 days a week, too. Why 3-5 for cardio? I might feel up to nailing a double on certain days and I do not want to shut out that possibility. Keeping my options open ^,^
The Routine is simple:
Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday – Weight Training
Monday, Wednesday, Friday – Home Cardio
My weight training days will consist of full body routines that incorporate high compound movements. I want to have a full body workout with a limited amount of lifts per routine. Things like renegade rows, dead-lifts, etc. will help me target multiple muscle groups at one time ^,^
