Okay, I have come to the conclusion that I need to bring both strength and cardio together; similar to when I was fighting. With that in mind, I will be setting up a schedule to workout twice a day, three days a week.
I am going to workout with Les Mills Combat 5 days a week (Combat Warrior schedule), along with weight lifting 3 days a week. I will make sure to lift weights first, testing out the theory from an article I read on the Bodybuilding website. The suggestion is that by weightlifting, I will burn through my glycogen stores so that my body will rely on the fat cells during the cardio.
