Day #1 Stronglift and Combat

Today was the start of a new regimen, a new routine, a new way of killing it! I have taken the past 4 weeks to regain some of my lost strength in the gym, it was to prepare me for this! I will spend the next 70 days on a killer workout that includes both intense weightlifting and brutal cardio. I want results!

I am also aiming to clean up my eating habits, which have slipped horribly these past few months. Well, maybe not horribly, I have been mindful, but I have also lost my will power a number of times. Enough to be embarrassing.

Too Much Fast Food

But, I will NOT let that slow me down. Instead, I will persevere and I will need the support of my friends more than ever, this time! I need to hear continual feedback. I need to be kept accountable. I need to monitor what I am taking in, and what I am expending during my workouts! A big portion of this is simply not being lazy. I need to make sure I am making my veggie trays, once again. With that, I also need to make sure I am not taking the easy way out with food. Time to put on that chef’s hat ^,^

One last thing: This program I have designed for myself includes the Stronglift principle (feel free to Google search for it) and Les Mills Combat. I expect nothing but pain and determination!

Please, leave some feedback! I really want this to be a plateau breaking workout! I am expecting results similar to when I used to fight, because this set-up is right along those lines… about 75% of what I used to do.
