I think many of us who have had a number of difficult times in our lives have found ways to cope with stress, pain, and anguish. As for myself, I am no exception to this rule and have my way of pushing tough things aside through the use of exercise.
It distracts my mind as I focus on what I am doing at that moment. I place painful thoughts into a space where I will deal with them afterwards, as it is good to give the body, mind, and soul some levity. So, when I say I really needed this workout today, please understand that it is with the utmost sincerity.
With that, I would also like to mention that this starts the first day of a new cycle of workouts for me. I am excited for this, as my body has surely been longing for the intensity and endorphin rush I get from a daily workout.
If you want, please leave some nice comments, because honestly… I need many positive thoughts coming my way right now, and I would be ever so grateful.
Now, I will focus on the words of the wonderful Bruce Lee, “… Be water, my friend…”
